Running Empty

There will come a time when our resources will be completely inferior to the demands that pull at us. At some time we will experience a deficit of possibly tremendous proportions where we simply will not possess the resources to fend off whatever assails us or whatever demands payment of us.

Where do we go when there’s no resources to go to? From what do we draw when the well of our own soul is parched and dry? This episode suggests that the resources that we have chosen to draw from may have left us with deficits that were not obvious until they had been exhausted. And that we would be wise to seek resources that would not fall to such exhaustion.
