Marriage Counseling

A marital relationship can be a deep and rich experience for two people. It can create a place where each person is given the opportunity to grow and flourish. Likewise, marriage can be challenging, bringing two unique people together into a corporate lifestyle where the differences must be navigated.

The realities and demands of our modern world continue to place increasing stress and strain on today’s marriages. Couple find themselves juggling an endless array of demands that are at times both exhausting and dizzying. Marriages sway under the stress, frequently fraying at the edges. Couples rarely have the time to build into their marriages sufficient strength and resiliency to offset these pressures. The intent of marital therapy is to assist couples in identifying both the similarities and differences in their personalities. This enhanced understanding allows the couples to more effectively understand each other, build effective communication and enhance problem-solving. These tools allow the couple to better navigate the issues in their relationship. The inherent strengths in the relationship are likewise built upon, believing that maximizing the existing strengths and utilizing those strengths in problems areas can dramatically change those areas.

A wide array of testing and assessment tools, as well as informational resources is utilized to render marital therapy as effective as possible in the shortest time frames. Couples committed to restoring, maximizing and building their marriage are likely to find the process encouraging and helpful.
