Inside:
Even today, there are times when I have little idea as to the nature of life or course of the journey, although I have errantly presumed the possession such knowledge. And when I granted myself license based on that presumed knowledge, I erred in ways both small and sometimes terribly large.
And yet, in the frustration and pain that my arrogance caused you, you remained. Even today I am stunned by your consistency in the face of my innumerable inconsistencies. I am left utterly impoverished in the repayment, knowing the greatest thing I can say to you on this special day is that I am somehow beginning to recognize the monumental nature of your sacrifices. And in the recognition I have come to realize that a lifetime of thanks would never be sufficient to return even the slightest piece of what you have given to me. Nonetheless, know that my thanks is endless and my love is eternal.
Wishing you a Blessed Mother’s Day.
