Description
An insightful encouragement to momentarily look beyond the battle to the opportunity for immense and improbable growth that lies within the battle.
Scripture:
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:4 – NIV
Cover:
“It is not the height of the summit, nor the steepness of the ascent. It is knowing that with God it is always a matter of heart and never an issue of altitude.”
Inside:
This is that moment when all that should be is not. And at times such as these, we realize how frighteningly frail we are despite all of our assorted musings to the contrary. And in our frailness we come to see, maybe for the first time, that our frailness is forever offset when the ascendency of God is given permission to fuse itself with that very frailness.
It is my hope that you realize that it is in our sickness that God is granted room to move in a way that we do not permit Him to move in those moments when we are well. And while I most earnestly pray for health, if I must choose, I would prefer to be ill with God than to be well without Him. But for you, I earnestly pray for both the blessing of health and the presence of God.
Praying for you today in your time of difficulty.
