Description
A profound and heartfelt thank you for a friendship that was made strong and held strong through all of life’s adversity.
Scripture:
“… but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
Proverbs 18:24 – NIV
Cover:
“I will either use people around me as a means to facilitate my journey at their expense, or I will use myself to enhance someone else’s journey at my expense. The former is a journey that never begins, and the latter is a journey that never ends.”
Inside:
The paradoxical nature of this journey is that it is both turbulently tumultuous and at times placidly serene. This journey of ours is not as predictable as we would like, nor it is as safe as we would prefer. It is a journey, and the nature of these journeys are such that they are both a mix of exhilarating adventure and deep trepidation.
I suppose that the issue is not the nature of the journey itself. Rather, it is about those who choose to walk it with us. For it is in the steeled bonds of friendship that the dizzying height of the mountains, the plummeting depth of the valleys, and the ferocity of the storms become wholly subservient to the bond born of the strength of those who walk beside us. I want to thank you for being beside me on the mountains, in the valleys, and throughout every storm, for without you I could not have traversed any of them.
Thank you for your undying friendship.
