Description

Profound living is something that we all passionately yearn for.
Yet, despite our best efforts it’s something that seems frustratingly elusive. We’ve concocted a dizzying array of strategies, programs, steps and philosophies that are all designed to achieve the lofty goal of profound living. Yet, genuinely profound living is not achieved by developing innovative strategies, tidy programs, formfitting steps, or by devising trendy philosophies. Rather, genuinely profound living is seized and ceaselessly nurtured through the careful reclamation of simple truths. Life is packed with simple truths that carry within them the timeless principals and raw power to live profoundly for a lifetime and more. This book is about simple truths richly explained, practically expanded upon and relevantly integrated into life’s realities in a manner that both cultivates and engenders stunningly profound living.

Reviews for Flecks of Gold on a Path of Stone: Simple Truths for Profound Living

What a great reminder of how we should be living life. You are so right; we get caught up in so many unnecessary things. Your book Flecks of Gold on a Path of Stone brought me back to what was important. I want you to know that I will be using this book with the college students I teach as part of my regular curriculum. Thank you!

– Barbara T. – California

You did it again! You writing is so right on, so clear and so poignant. I’m waiting for you to write something that’s flat, but you keep on putting out great stuff. I am passing this book on to all of the pastors that I oversee here in Florida. I know that it will be a blessing to them.

– Bill H. – Florida

“Thank you for writing a book with such raw and real emotion.”

Robert N. – Texas

Inspirational Quotes

When it comes to life, I would much rather have run the race well than have run the race fast. For if we understand life, we would realize that the first one to cross the finish line is not necessarily the one who actually won the race.
