Description

Celebrating all that a father is, and respectfully rejoicing in the fact that those sacrificial attributes were poured out into our lives.

Scripture:

“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.”

Cover:

“Some people are bigger than language and deeper than words.”

Inside:

To be a Dad is to willingly adorn oneself with the weighty mantel of relinquishment. It is to lay aside one’s most wildly passionate dreams in order to fuel the dreams of the children God has granted you. It is to plant oneself in the rich loam of legacy where the constructing of one’s future is accomplished through the building of one’s children. And it is to raise them up as you gradually lay yourself down.

Dad, your absence would have been my destruction. Your presence has been my joy. And while you would readily admit your imperfections, your heart incessantly strove to be better for me than your past was for you. Any words, despite how tenderly crafted could not express either my thanks or my love. And so, as imperfect as they will always be, thank you for being my Dad and know that my love for you deepens with each passing day.

Wishing you a Happy Father’s Day

Inspirational Quotes

Pain says that if we’re alive enough to feel pain, we’re alive enough to feel joy. It’s just a question of whether we believe that there’s space for both.
