As I ponder it all, it seems to me that the thought of celebrating yourself has never so much as crossed the remotest periphery of your mind. I would surmise that your humility, so potent and tranquilly selfless, completely renders any notion of celebration as something directed to others only.

Yet even though such a thought is likely to escape you entirely, it is that very humility that makes you wholly worthy of celebration. While there is no place within you to even begin to presume any entitlement to such celebration, this card both embodies and extends my deep desire to celebrate you on your special day. And so, in simple celebration of all the many wonderful things that you are, I want to wish you all the fullness that a birthday can possibly hold.
