Left Lane Living – Driving at the Speed of Life

http://lifetalk56.podbean.com/mf/web/sfbqm4/LeftLaneLiving-DrivingattheSpeedofLife.mp3 Life is a road. And in navigating that road, more often than not we’re in the sluggish right lane of life. In the right lane we’re doing little more than pacing ourselves based on the person in front of us who’s pacing themselves based on the person in front of them, and so on. And it is here that our lives become less about some electrifying destination and more about the plodding nature of the journey in the monotonous right lane.

Yet it seems that too many times we’ve either forgotten or abandoned the left lane. We fear expanse of the open road and we’re not all that certain what we’ll do if someone else isn’t dictating our speed as we travel down it. However, the left lane is that liberating place where the journey is marked by the passion of destination, the energy for the journey born of that passion, and the ability to move toward that destination with a freedom that simply doesn’t exist in the plodding right lane of life.
