Grief and Loss – A Different Perspective

When we experience grief and loss, all we see is grief and loss. Our hearts are smeared thick with searing grief and our eyes are rendered blind by a loss that we’re struggling to embrace as real. Our worlds teeter and our lives wrestle with the massive holes of things torn away. We wrestle with an existence now altered beyond hope of restoration to that which we enjoyed before the onset of loss.

Our paradigm becomes entirely loss focused. We thereby abandon and forsake the opportunities opened and subsequently presented by loss. We look to the past without any understanding of what is now being opened for the future. This episode is not design to ease our loss, but rather to shift our perspective in order to see great purpose in great loss.
